But first we talk about the continuous struggles of the Utah Jazz.  My text chain of Jazz fans has been quiet lately because everyone is so fed up with the lack of defensive effort by this team.  We just lost to the Rockets at home tonight.  We didn't have Donovan, but that should not matter! WHAT IS GOING ON?!

BYU Basketball was fun to talk about with my dad (the biggest BYU bball fan ever), we talk about the adversity this team has overcome and the fight they have and how Alex Barcello is a stud.

Super Wild Card Weekend Recap: All blowouts or controlled wins and the Cowboys vs. 49ers.  That was wild.  Todd is sad and shares his sorrows with us on this pod.

I am joined by my friend Doug Woodbury on this week's podcast where we start with our recommendation of the week.

The Jazz have had it rough since Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID with losses to the Raptors, Pacers, Pistons, and Cavs.  We look like a completely different team without the 3X Defensive Player of the year stuffing the paint and setting screens.  Are we worried? Yes. Will we be alright? We are not sure... Clearly we ride the highs and lows of this team and this is a definite low.

NFL playoffs start this week after what felt like the longest season ever, which I am sad it is coming to an end. We go through our predictions for these playoff matchups and I still can't believe this Eagles team made the playoffs LOL.

I am joined this week by Jake Smith to talk through this last week in sports.  Jake has a great understanding of the NFL and the Jazz and has some interesting in depth takes on the Pro Bowl selections for this year.

We talk our good beats and bad beats to get the show going.  Jake just discovered TikTok LOL.  It is the best!  Just don't want to get sucked too much into the rabbit hole haha.

Utah Jazz lose a bad back-to-back at home, but bounce back against the Hornets with Gordon Hayward on the bench.  Bummer is it looks like Luka Doncic is out of the Christmas game against the Jazz due to COVID.

Pro Bowl Selection takes and then we finish with NFL week 16 pick 'em against the spread.

BTW, Spencer if you read this, remember there is always next year for the Seahawks.  This is their first losing season since 2011.

The Utah Jazz have been been shooting lights out as Donovan has leveled up to 54% from the field and 45% from 3!  Been fun to watch as the Jazz are now only 2.5 games back from the first place Warriors.  We discuss the Jazz hiring of Danny Ainge to be the CEO of basketball operations.

We talk about our fantasy football teams we are most excited about heading into the playoffs.

Utes have made history and have won their first ever PAC-12 Championship!  I am joined by my friend Curtis Woodbury, who was at the game and gives his take of the atmosphere and his feelings of being present as they won the conference championship.  Bring on Ohio State in the Rose Bowl

BYU gets screwed and even though they finished #13, they will play unranked UAB in the Independence Bowl.  Kalani Sitake may leave for Oregon... I hope not for my fandom sake, but I get it.  MONEY TALKS!!!

The Jazz have now won 5 straight behind a record setting volume of 3-pointers and Donovan averaging 30+ PPG.  Let's keep it rolling!

Utah Jazz had a rough week goin 1-2 at home.  The transition defense and overall effort hasn't been what Spencer and I want to see.  We discuss this and the upcoming schedule of very winnable games.

BYU was idle in CFB and remains #14 in the rankings.

#3 Oregon visits SLC to play the #23 Utes in a big matchup and essential preview for the PAC-12 Championship.  A lot on the line for both teams as the Ducks try to secure a playoff spot and the Utes make a push to the Rose Bowl.  Should be a fun one.

NFL Pick 'Em Week 11 to end the show.

The Jazz are 8-3 and 2nd in the West behind the Golden State Warriors.  We both think the Jazz can be even better going forward, especially from behind the arc.  Home stand this week against the Pacers, Embiidless Sixers, and the Heat.  Should be fun.

BYU #14 in CFP Rankings. Cool.

Utah is #24 and are looking to make the PAC-12 Championship by winning 2 / 3 of the remaining games.  Should be cake, but we will see.

NFL Pick 'Em week 10.  Last week the Cowboys, Bills, and Rams were are disappointing and Rodgers has COVID and the world is losing their minds.
