Have you ever written something in the palm of your hand so you wouldn’t forget it? Perhaps a number or something you wanted to make sure you did?

Did you engrave it there? Surely not. You probably wrote with a pen, and at the end of the day, you washed it off.

God has engraved you on the palms of His hands. Never to wash off and never to forget.
