Success and longevity are the least of what you could say about Phil Demmel. But mainly, his friends and peers in the industry just say “He’s just such a good guy”… In a decade of interviewing artists that I love, this was by far the most impactful and touching. What I thought would be another awesome interview turned into one of the most real, true and honest retrospectives of a massive career that didn’t even stop for 24 hours when Phil left Machine Head. 

Onwards and upwards, from the Slayer stage, to reuniting with Vio-Lence, an album with BPMD, Torque, and a very exciting new project: Echoes of Reckoning with Dave Ellefson of Megadeth, Dave McClain of Sacred Reich, and Brandan Schieppati of Bleeding Through.
