Am I Being Abused?

I've wondered this same thing. I've tried to compare my story to t.v. or to other children who were being abused... and because my story wasn't exactly like theirs I believed for a long time that I wasn't being abused.

But I was... and not only was I being abused at home but I went on to find several other abusive relationships after leaving home because I didn't know what abuse looked like, felt like, and sounded like... I thought abuse was normal!

I know that this is true for so many other young people.
