Small Beginnings with Sara

Am I Willing to Dig a Hole in a Roof for My Friend?

In this week’s episode of Small Beginnings with Sara, I’m reflecting on a powerful story from Mark 2:1–5 where four friends dug through a roof to bring a paralyzed man to Jesus. Their faith opened the way for a miracle.

It leaves me asking:

  • Do I have four friends who would carry me to Jesus when I can’t carry myself?
  • Am I willing to be that kind of friend for others?
  • What is my faith quotient right now—and could I lend my faith to a friend in need?

Sometimes faith looks like digging through a roof. Sometimes it looks like carrying the weight for someone else until they can meet Jesus face-to-face.

💡 This episode is an invitation to examine the friendships in your life and the kind of friend you’re willing to be.
