Coffee with the Supervisor – June 7
Grab a cup and share your thoughts! Supervisor George Hoehmann invites residents to "Coffee with the Supervisor" on Saturday, June 7th, from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Coffee Maker on Maple Ave in New City. This community conversation was rescheduled from May 31st due to rain.

West Nyack Way Closure – June 4
Heads up, drivers! West Nyack Way will be closed between Route 59 and West Nyack Road starting June 4th for up to two days. Access will be limited to local businesses like Yaboo Fence and Rockland Appliance.

Street Fairs – June 1 & 8
Celebrate local! The Nanuet Street Fair kicks off June 1st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street with 200 vendors, live music, and family fun. A week later, on June 8th, New City hosts its own street fair with food, entertainment, and more!

Nanuet Cemetery Restoration – Begins June 2
Preserving history: Restoration at Nanuet Cemetery begins June 2nd, using a state grant and a professional team. Expect some equipment and activity near the Grace Baptist Church parking lot during this three-week project.

Germonds Pool Opening – June 14
Mark your calendar! Serendipity Saturday marks the opening of Germonds Pool on June 14th from 12–6 p.m. Enjoy music, crafts, and swimming—free for all Clarkstown residents.

Town Clerk Extended Hours – June 3 & 24
Need permits or licenses? Clarkstown Town Clerk’s office will stay open late on June 3rd and 24th—open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Blood Drive – June 16
Give the gift of life. A blood drive will be held June 16th from 1 to 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 1862 in New City. Walk-ins welcome, appointments encouraged.

Lake DeForest Day – June 28
Get ready for fun on the water! Lake DeForest Day returns June 28th with kayaking, canoeing, and a fishing derby. Parking at New City Little League Field, with activities from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Turtle Migration Reminder – Ongoing
A wildlife reminder: Please slow down on Western Highway in Blauvelt as turtles migrate to lay their eggs during May and June.

Memorial Day Tributes
Supervisor Michael Specht honored fallen heroes this Memorial Day in Hillburn, Sloatsburg, Montebello, Suffern, Airmont, and at Fred Loescher Brick Church Veterans Cemetery.

Assessment & STAR Program Updates
Grievance letters for property assessments will go out July 1. Updated Enhanced STAR applications are now available with a $107,300 income limit. The new STAR Direct Deposit program makes benefits easier to receive.

Check your property data using Ramapo's PROS and "Comper for Citizens" platforms, now live for public use.

Local Law Expands Disability Exemptions
Ramapo passed Local Law 2, expanding property tax exemption eligibility for residents with disabilities, including those in special needs trusts.
