Once a close friend and ministry colleague of Billy Graham, Templeton was considered one of the most gifted evangelists of his generation. Yet later in life he publicly rejected Christianity and wrote the book Farewell to God.

Looking at biblical passages alongside the testimony of Templeton’s early life and ministry, this sermon wrestles with the deeper issue: Can someone stop having faith in Jesus and still belong to Him?
