Especially in Punta del Este over the Christmas to New Years period. This little hot spot in Uruguay is where you'll find a lot of high calibre Argentinians and Brazilians spending their holidays. For them it's like a mini unspoilt Ibiza that for the most part is completely untapped by the Europeans. There are some really great restaurants to try out and the parties are on another level!
