We finished the month of May expounding 1 Thessalonians 2:7-12 and there's a question that retains to that last verse when it comes to God calling us into His kingdom and glory.

Is this a past or future event?

When it comes to looking at the various passages referring to the Kingdom of God, it seems to be that this is both a past and future event; both an earthly and celestial kingdom but one that is realised in all its fullness once the new heaven and new earth arrive as described in Revelation 21.

The ultimate question from this study though - one that we all need to answer as well as ask those around us - is found in the conclusion of the message.
