Episode 5 with Amanda Batty (@abattycakes). Amanda is an incredible woman who is part professional mountain biker, part bike shop owner (check out @bikecoopabq in Albuquerque!), part dog owner and overall awesome. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and is a relentless advocate for a better world with safer roads and more butts on bikes. She became part of this project on a whim after my friend I was staying with in Albuquerque suggested I stop in the bike shop in town to talk with the owner. Turns out she was @abattycakes and happened to be a @MaxxisTires athlete and was a joy to talk to. Super well-spoken, Amanda left me feeling empowered and optimistic about the future of our roads and distracted living.
