This episode was actually recorded in November of 2020. The release was delayed for many reasons.  Amanda had very recently gone through a break up.  Shortly before this episode was recorded we were talking about setting her up with her own podcast. She told me she wanted to announce the podcast on GoF during an episode where we discussed her break up.  She expressed that she really just wanted to share the emotions she was going through and how she was dealing with them.  I had to ask her if she was sure she wanted to do this while it was still so fresh and while she was still so vulnerable.  She decided that was, in fact, the sole reason she wanted to proceed.  She wanted people to know that they were not alone in these feelings.  We ended up talking about some of the pitfalls inside hurtful relationships and how...maybe...they could be better dealt with.  I admire her for being willing to put herself out there so openly when so many would not.  I hope her story helps some of you dealing with recent or past break ups.  I know it helped me see the idea of relationships in a different light.
