డిసెంబర్ నెలలో ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి అసెంబ్లీలో మూడు రాజధానుల ప్రతిపాదన చేసిన తర్వాత, వార్త పత్రికల్లో , టీవీ చానెల్స్ లొ దాని గురించి చర్చలు జరుగుతూనే ఉ న్నాయి. అమరావతి కోసం 33000 ఎకరాల భూములిచ్చిన రైతులు దీనికి వ్యతిరేకంగా నిరసనలు కూడా చేస్తున్నారు.

ఇది కేవలం రాజకీయ కక్ష సాధింపు చర్య అని ప్రతిపక్షాల ఆరోపణ. ఇది ప్రాంతీయ అసమానతలు తొలగించడానికి, ఇంకా అభివృద్ధి ని సమానం గా పంచడం కోసం అవసరమైన చర్య అని ప్రభుత్వ వాదన.

(Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, in December 2019, proposed the creation of three capitals for Andhra Pradesh. As per the government, the idea was to decentralise power and to ensure equitable development across the regions. However, many in opposition and others such as the farmers of Amravati, the earlier proposed capital by former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, continue to protest. While the opposition parties claim that this is just plain vendetta, the government continues to defend its decision. What was the reason for this decision?
