Elijah had seen amazing things. He had worked miracles, seen God send down fire, and he had just outran a chariot on foot. Why would a man with so much evidence of God's power, now be fleeing for his life from a heathen woman? Didn't he trust that God was going to look out for him after everything he had experienced?
