Clean Slate is a new comedy series from producer, Norman Lear. The show follows Harry Slate (George Wallace), an old-school and outspoken Alabama car wash owner. When his estranged son returns home  to Mobile as a proud, trans woman, Desiree (Laverne Cox) they both find themselves working to reconnect, heal and move forward.
