The Italian Republic is currently chairing the Group of 7 (G7) industrialised countries. H.E. Mr Antonio Tajani, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is chairing the G7 Development Ministerial Meeting taking place in Pescara, Italy, from 23 to 24 October 2024. South Africa has been invited to participate in the meeting represented by Deputy Minister Alvin Botes.
