Come On Up

Ambassadors Of Grace

Listen Later

Start here if you’ve ever wondered whether the gospel is only the doorway into faith or the very framework for the whole Christian life. We open Romans 1 and walk with Paul from bondservant to ambassador, from self-made holiness to grace-fueled obedience, and from private belief to public calling. Along the way, we explore how Jesus’ resurrection declares Him the Son of God in power and why that single event redefines identity, peace, and purpose for anyone who believes.

We look at Paul’s startling shift from persecutor to messenger and ask what that means for modern disciples who feel unqualified. You’ll hear a clear, Scripture-rooted summary of the gospel: promised through the prophets, fulfilled in Jesus of the line of David, crucified, buried, and raised on the third day. Then we connect the dots to daily life: receiving grace and apostleship, living as ambassadors of Christ, and embracing the “great exchange” where the sinless One became sin so we might become the righteousness of God. This isn’t prosperity hype; it’s spiritual wealth that produces real peace and a steady heart.

We also press into Paul’s sense of holy obligation: a debtor to Greeks and barbarians, to the wise and the simple. That vision widens our view of mission and invites us into mutual encouragement—the kind Paul longs to share with the believers in Rome. Finally, we anchor in the line that changed history: the just shall live by faith. Growth happens from faith to faith, not from effort to effort. If you’ve been trying to please God in your own strength, this conversation offers a better way forward.

If this encourages you, share it with a friend who needs hope, subscribe for more verse-by-verse teaching, and leave a review to help others find the show.
