I also always heard the following statements: “You got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything, “Quit crying or I'll give you something to cry about.”, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, come sit by me.”, “Check yourself before you wreck yourself.” And finally, the pen is mightier than the sword...
