Finally the Ambient Sessions are back again. After starting up in the beginning of this year everything is slowly powering up including my monthly released ambient sessions. To kick off the first new release Cenk Akyol is back to the channel to serve you his latest mixtape.

About:

During the longest and darkest nights of the year, I inevitably find myself drifting into the realm of dark ambient. Right around this time, while listening to the new New Risen Throne album, I decided to record an ambient set for the wonderful Deep Electronics' Ambient Sessions series, where I usually curate club-focused selections.

Although the mix is largely shaped by darker tones, as a lifelong disco enthusiast, I still allowed room for moments of openness and light within the soundscape.
