David Lubliner PhD has been teaching at NJIT for 25 years. His current responsibilities are as a coordinator of three programs; Computer Technology, Medical Informatics, which he developed in 2009 and has authored a related textbook "Biomedical Informatics(2015):An Introduction to Informations Systems and Software in Medicine and Health" and developed a more recent minor in Geriatric Engineering in 2019. The goal is to migrate the Geriatrics Engineering program to a standalone BS in 2022. His background includes degrees in Math/physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (Biomedical concentration) and PhD in Information Systems. He worked in industry for ten years; first on the Patriot Missile System, then later in the field of Computer Architecture/Security for a fortune 50 company.
