The recent controversy over Colin Kapernick's refusal to stand for the national anthem has caused mixed emotions unlike Ariana Grande. He even said he's not proud to be an American and how oppressed the black people in America are. Well, I weigh in on oppression and state that EVERYONE in America is oppressed by something. Instead of blaming it for our failures, we should work harder to overcome it - not react like Colin did.
