We all like to present our best version of ourselves. It is easy to embellish or ignore the parts we don’t like in order to impress others. But that version is not who we truly are. Thankfully, Jesus is not fooled by our swagger. This week we see that Jesus responds to our bravado with the hopes it will lead to our brokenness.
