Michael Lotstein, from ASU Libraries Archives and Special Collections, joins Fred to talk about American Archives Month which is presented by the Society of American Archivists, to promote the value of archives and the responsibility of the archivist.

They discuss the responsibility of managing records generated at ASU and the role the archives play in the local community, Arizona, and the southwestern United States. Michael also explains how everyone might have historic treasures in their attic and how Archives and Special collections can help them evaluate the historical value of their materials.
