Please join the Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics on September 25 for a discussion on the state of American business in China featuring a talented panel of American business executives operating in China. AmCham Shanghai President Ker Gibbs will present the results of the chamber's 2019 China Business Report, a business climate survey of the chamber's members. Gibbs will then join a panel discussion with Pilar Dieter, Senior Partner at YCP Solidiance, Ltd.; Don Williams, Managing Partner & Chief Representative at Sheppard Mullin Shanghai; and Qiang Lyu, Divisional Vice President at Abbott Laboratories. Scott Kennedy, Senior Adviser and Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics, will moderate a discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing the American business community in China and the relative effectiveness of alternative policy approaches the United States could take to promote a truly mutually beneficial relationship.
