The American Heart Association and the Los Angeles Rams have partnered to offer CPR and AED training to representatives from 22 local schools. With nearly 9 out of 10 people dying from cardiac arrest outside of a hospital due to lack of immediate CPR, this training aims to increase survival rates. The Rams have donated resources to enable schools to bring these lifesaving skills back to their campuses. Implementing these strategies can save lives, particularly among student-athletes, aligning with the NFL's initiative to prevent fatal outcomes from cardiac arrest among high school students.
