You Have God Given Authority

As Christians we have God given authority through the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to speak, pray, and proclaim God’s word in every situation.  You were not created to lie down in defeat, or to beg God hoping he might be kind and answer your prayer. God desires for you to walk in faith and in the power of His might, given to you.  Through Christ our Lord, the victory is yours!  It’s time to walk in the authority of the Word of God given for you.

A children’s adventure story that is the remake of the popular television series, Starring Matthew Broderick  as “Inspector Gadget.

 

Gadget, who suffers an accident at the beginning of the film and is helpped by  Brenda, a robotic surgeon, who repairs Gadget, so that he can defeat the villain “Claw,” become friends and eventually fall in love.

The Freedom of Grace

Grace is God’s continuous unmerited, unearned, love and favor.  It is the grace of God that frees us from the guilt and condemnation of our own sins.  Because of the grace of God and the shed blood of Jesus Christ I am free to walk in His forgiveness without shame, without condemnation, and with a clean, joyous, heart.  I’m free to stop beating my own self up because of my past actions.  Don’t you want to be free today?

Jenny Hayden never did get over the death of her husband. So when an alien life form accepts the invitation to visit earth he found on the “Voyager deep space probe mankind launched in August of 1977

He decides to come to earth and take the form of Jenny’s dead husband

At first Jenny is confused and even a little afraid . But The alien, Starman, as he is called, must keep the deadline to rendezvous with his mother ship if he is ever going to be able to get home.

Whether Jenny is reluctant or not He still desperately needs her help to get to the rendezvous point before his time runs out because being away from his home planet’s environment is fatal.

The Price of Faith & Reward of Faith

The word of God tells us that, “Without faith it is impossible to please God.”  God is pleased when we are willing to act in faith and trust Him.  Faith is not always easy, sometimes there is a price for faith and it cost you something to walk in faith.  But, there is also a reward for that faith.

Search for Spock

Saturday night at the Movies Feb 28 2015

In tribute to the passing of Lenard Nimoy, Star Trek’s Mr. Spock, We will tonight be presenting a tribute to Lenard Nimoy by presenting “Star Trek 3”: “The Search for Spock” 1984.

Which was the first film Mr. Nimoy directed.

The film opens with the now Famous scene at the end of “Star Trek 2” when Mr. spock dies while saving the enterprise and it’s crew.  A shocking ending, in its day,  to all the millions of loyal Star Trek fans around the world.

As the movie continues , the Enterprise and crew are returning to port for some essential repairs to their ship. When they arrive, they are shocked to discover the Enterprise is to be scrapped.

When Dr. McCoy starts acting strangely, Kirk is forced to steal his old ship back and fly across space to a lonely planet to help Bones get well and to keep a promise he made to Mr. Spock’s father only to find out that the evolutionary process on that planet has gone awry and the crew of the Enterprise finds a lot more than they ever imagined.
