The Census Bureau's annual report, "Income and Poverty in the United States: 2020" was recently released, and it paints a vastly different picture than what we hear from those on the left who say that Americans need government handouts to get ahead. The reality is that America is still working, and its people are moving up the ladder and creating wealth in spite of big government. We are seeing that the values of hard work and personal responsibility are still the best remedy for getting out of poverty and getting ahead in life.
