Hodge was arrested for stealing and trying to harm an alligator. He said he was teaching it a lesson, but never said what the alligator did. Witnesses saw him trying to throw it onto the roof of a bar, and then he stomped on it. He was also trying to flood the station by clogging the toilet. The alligator was returned to its owner.

A man in Florida stole an alligator and took it to a bar, where he unsuccessfully tried to throw it on the roof. It is unclear why he did this, but it is speculated that he was either high or severely intoxicated. The alligator was eventually returned to its rightful owner.
