This one goes all the way back to the year 1800 in the state of Maine. A recently-deceased woman's ghost appears to a family and is apparently on a mission from God. What's the mission, you ask? Well, to get her 29-year-old widowed husband and the family's 15-year-old daughter married, of course! Seems pretty obvious this is all a scam from the husband, right? Maybe the daughter?
