They’ve been doing it for a long time. Even in the days when some protests were organic and attendees truly cared about the ideas they were advocating for, there was an element of astroturfing. But these days, they’re all astroturf, or externally generated and paid for by the left’s billionaires and believe it or not, our tax dollars through non-government organizations. Fake protesters pushing fake messages harms our political discourse by distracting us from what matters most, and that is insisting on effective policy that protects us and our prosperity, so it is very dangerous. My guest today to pull the curtain back on the secrecy behind these shady groups paying for and organizing all this is Adam Swart. Adam is the founder and CEO of Crowds on Demand—the original paid protesting firm—and one of the nation’s leading experts on protests, advocacy, and political influence. A lifelong liberal, he now finds himself increasingly “not liberal enough” for the modern Left—and has become a vocal critic of what he calls “a party of tantrums, not ideas.”
