Show Summary: "Face Off" looks for the next great special effects makeup artist as a dozen new contestants vie for the grand prize package, which includes $100,000. In a twist for the show's 12th season, the artists are divided into two design shops that compete against each other in each challenge. Each team chooses a foreman each week, and that person coordinates the group's project, assigns tasks to the teammates and represents the team to the judges. The most successful contestant from the winning team is declared the winner of the challenge, and the losing team's least successful artist goes home. The judging panel remains the same from previous seasons, with Ve Neill, Glenn Hetrick and Neville Page deciding who goes home each week. Also returning are host McKenzie Westmore and her Oscar-winning father, Michael, who mentors the hopefuls.
