• Graduated with a degree in Opera! Nonprofit - and bilingual communities in Austin. Learned from students and members on AmeriCorps team. Understanding how the education system works.
• Served three years!
• Frustration with systems that can only be changes by legislation this brought her to New Politics. 
• 1/2 Bridal party AmeriCorps!
• Finding mentors and keeping in touch with them.
