Members Reviews:
A sweet and simple love story that leaves the reader with a satisfied smile.
This is a simple and sweet love story about an Amish girl coming of age and wrestling with her faith and her future as a young woman. This wholesome romance follows young Emma Bontager as she is confronted with attention from a handsome and charming young Englischer and begins to think about what life might be like outside her Amish community. Although the plot is a gentle ride through the uncomplicated Amish landscape, the story is honest and sweet, leaving the reader with a satisfied smile. I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

FIRST OF HER BOOKS. AND IT WAS VERY INTERESTING AND THE STORY LINE GREAT. CANT WAIT TO GET ANOTHER ONE.
Making up one's mind
While this was a very short story, it was written well. Quick and to the point. Will be moving to the next one in this series.
Five Stars
Still reading it but like it.
Not for me.
I am not the right audience for this, being too old and too educated. I was curious, because I am teaching a course about faith and literature. My curiosity has been satisfied; I won't go back for more. But clearly there is an audience fo rthis kind of hting.
