As Elayne gets down to business to defeat the Dark One, the war opens on four fronts. Luckily she has four top-flight generals to handle them. She personally oversees the battle at Caemlyn, where she decides that the best way to fix a half-burnt city is to make it a whole-burnt one. Then Elayne and Rand "catch up".
