What type of God do we serve? Is He loving, or is He just looking to destroy us? Well the cross proves to us just how loving our God truly is. Just because He’s loving doesn’t mean He won’t discipline His children when they’re doing wrong. God will use circumstances and consequences of our sin to discipline us but His intention is for that discipline to lead us back to Him. As we look at the nation of Israel, we will see that no matter what God did, they would not return to Him.
