Less than 48 hours before the final round of the 75th U.S. Women’s Open, as Amy Olson contended for her first professional victory, her father-in-law died unexpectedly. Dave Giancola and Mike Trostel caught up with Olson on her emotional runner-up finish at Champions Golf Club and what it was like growing up as a golfer in North Dakota, a state she still calls home.
