Aidan Corcoran is a make-up artist, educator and beauty style advisor with the Brown Thomas group. If ever you’ve wandered around any of their Dublin beauty halls (or ‘Planets’), you’ll undoubtedly have seen him – and his horizontal eyebrows– engaged in countless conversations, and tasks at once… that’s when he’s not working on shoots, shows, events or one-on-one with clients, advising them on their own perfect, bespoke beauty edit.

This conversation started as a random chat over lunch at a press launch – two beauty devotees swapping thoughts and opinions on brands, products, marketing hype and more. It was too good a conversation to leave in the breadbasket, so here it continues… I’ve literally picked Aidan’s brains raw as we trawl through the best beauty brands in makeup, skincare and fragrance.
