Balancing the goals of hosting in style and everyday livability, Flanigan created immersive entertaining areas and luxurious private spaces: an elliptical gilded dining room inspired by top restaurants, texture-laden lounge featuring a custom mahjong table, and the wife’s office with a ceiling clad in Chanel-evoking tweed. The home reflects Houston’s taste for deep individuality and Flanigan’s dedication to spaces, objects and materials that combine poetry with purpose.
