A great book by a great auther

Self centered ramblings of a man..

who couldn't decide whether to feel pity or admiration for his life's work. Perhaps of interest to a reader curious about the art culture in Japan in the years leading up to WW II. Essentially a series of random memories that flitted back and forth over the course of his life.

Interesting because it is hard to find a book with the Japanese perspective of the after math of the war.
