This is a quick run down of what I will be talking about in this podcast - An Atheist Reads the Big Book of Alcoholic Anonymous.  If you are an atheist, agnostic, or not quite sure where you stand on the religious aspects of some 12 step recovery programs this may be for you.  While I attempt to make sense of the god stuff ingrained in many 12 step recovery programs I will also be exploring other methods of sobriety as well as why AA and the like work for so many folks.
