Ruth Lee was born and raised in Buena Park, California. After studying Psychology and Human Development at the University of California, Davis, she lived abroad in Korea where she stayed to teach English for several years before returning to teach in Baltimore City through Teach for America. Today, Ruth is an admissions officer for Johns Hopkins University where she is also finishing a Masters in Education.
