In John 17:20-26, before embarking on his final ministry leg toward the cross, Jesus prays for every future Christian believer. He prays that we would share the perfect oneness of the Father and Son, so the world would believe that Jesus was truly sent by the Father, and that the Father loves us with the exact same love. Jesus longs for us to one day stand with Him in glory, behold His eternal splendor, and live forever inside that divine love.
