Conspiracy theories, fear, panic and an attitude of lack have all surfaced throughout this pandemic. It feels as though we've entered an eternal winter. However, like the two ordinary Hobbits, Frodo and Sam, in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, we can learn courage, ingenuity and steadfastness in this testing trial and not let the darkness overwhelm us.
