Hello and welcome to Field Notes, where each week we take a recording from nature and just let it play. 🌾🍃🍂🍁 We’re in Venice and its November. We’ve taken a stroll around the fondamente at the very north of the city. It's getting dark and the pavements are lit by lines of street lights. As we walk along the water sloshes against the sides of the canals, and boats chug along; locals heading home after work as well as the sounds of the workings of the city; ambulance boats and goods being loaded and unloaded from the water. 🚣‍♂
