The majority of elderly people face difficulties while walking because the muscular activity starts to deteriorate with aging. To make their life more comfortable, a group of students at the American University of Sharjah are currently working on a senior project to design an exoskeleton for the elderly provide them with support in their day to day activities. In this episode, Dr. Shayok, Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering at the American University of Sharjah and Mohammed Kharroub, an electrical engineering student minoring in mechatronics engineering join us to discuss the features of the exoskeleton and its function.
