bonus book was better than 1st book
An Heir Fit for a King: Christmas at the Castello - The ratings for this book was high, but I was a little disappointed. The emotions and chemistry surged throughout the story between the hero, and heroine. The plot itself has been over used. There really were very few surprises. I didn't find anything that made this book stand out better than the other books with this same story line. Heroine was a virgin. She got pregnant, and in the end married her King. It did have a fairy tale feeling to it. It had almost no drama. It did however have good suspense. I was waiting to see who would say I love you first. Both had been hurt in the past. So to guard their heart against pain, they refused to say the 3 little words till the end. To give this book credit, it didn't take one of them getting hurt for the other to realize it was love. It just took longer for them to know the emotion they were feeling was indeed love. It was a good story. I just wished something would have set this book apart from the others with this same plot.
Christmas at the Castello was the second, and bonus book. It was a heartwarming story that brought tears to my eyes. I love to read about orphans or foster kids finding that special family that will love them. It was a short book, but well worth the read.
