Sophie is the founder of SS4C here in Aotearoa which mobilised 170,000 people across the country to strike for climate justice. She was also one of New Zealand’s youngest elected Councillor and was one of four delegates chosen to represent New Zealand at APEC Voices of the future. She currently serves as the Raumati Ward Councillor on the Kāpiti Coast District Council.
