Back in the day, design aesthetic was for espresso machines and fancy Italian cars.  Industrial designers were lucky to be called in before a new product was introduced and, then, only to choose its color — usually, file cabinet grey or army green.  These days, industrial designers have all the fun.  Just ask Dan Williams.  He has been in from the start of countless products, from the mobile phones to state-of-the-art health care delivery systems.  Along the way, Dan’s witnessed some great successes and some spectacular failures — including the fall of Konarka, an early solar cell maker that raised a whopping $185 Million before collapsing in the face of unexpected changes in the energy industry.  Join us in hearing Dan's story.
