In our first exploration of J.B. Priestley's 'An Inspector Calls', we look at how young people -- young people like your good selves -- are the only hope we have for the future. Through the character of Sheila, we see how having a capacity to change is one of the most important attributes a human can possess. Though her actions may have been horrible, she at least shows the ability to learn and take responsibility. Does this redeem her? That's for you to decide.
