In Episode 7 of #Uncommon, Lisa Desilet gives you an insider's perspective into her 22+ year marriage with her husband, Phil Desilet.

After their first date on Lisa's 19th birthday, the couple has been together ever since. They've built a successful life together, have three children, and experienced lots of change in each other and collectively over the decades.  In today's episode, Lisa goes into the intimate challenges of that growth, particularly in the past few years.

Phil Desilet is a Captain with Boise Fire Department. He had held a variety of leadership roles as a professional firefighter and union member throughout his 20+ years of service. In addition to being a career firefighter, he is also a real estate investor, health and wellness advocate, outdoorsman, coach, and all-around great guy. You can't really find him online, but you might see him up in the mountains of Idaho, hear him on the sidelines of his kids' sporting events, or watch him moving weight at his local gym.
