I met Anna during my journey to become a Caritas Coach which coincided with the experience of my daughter giving birth to her second son who shortly after birth required admission to the NICU.  I was present for his birth and witnessed the trauma endured by my daughter, my son-in-law, and my grandson as they journeyed through the NICU. 

Although I knew it would be difficult, I was not ready for the degree of suffering that accompanied their experience and mine as well.   My daughter was and is a fierce mama bear, but the price she paid was excruciating to witness.  I was so glad I was there for her, and she for me. 

Anna and the Caritas Community helped me navigate this traumatic event, processing the myriad of feelings associated with watching your baby girl endure such tremendous overwhelm. I am indebted to Anna and the Caritas Community for the loving support they provided for me during that difficult period.
